Night photo of a crowded courtyard outside a white-walled building with lit lamps and a small fire-lit area in the background. In the centre, a smiling man wears a rust-red turban, a rust-red shawl over the shoulders and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace with rudraksha-style beads. Around him, devotees in saffron and orange robes and red-and-gold garlands press forward, one woman holds a small child, and a bearded man in orange stands to the right. A poster-like white banner with green drapery sits at the left edge. Several hands are raised in greeting or folded in namaste. The scene suggests a darshan or visiting procession.

In the foreground, a smiling man in a rust-red turban and sleeveless rust-red robe, with a gold necklace and rudraksha-style beads, holds white flower garlands and presses his palms together. A bald man in a white-and-gold dhoti with beaded garlands stands at left in the foreground, and a woman in orange robes with glasses stands beside him. Behind them, a uniformed police officer, a man in a white-and-gold dhoti with a garland, and a crowd of women in maroon and red saris wearing gold-bead garlands and sandalwood-marked foreheads are visible. The swami cues are not distinctive enough to confirm an identity, so the central figure is described by role only.2016-05-12
