Night photograph of a fire ritual in a dark outdoor setting strung with small blue and white lights. A figure standing on a wooden frame is engulfed in large flames, with a bright fire blazing from the body. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts stand in the background and to the right, while a man in a white dhoti holds a long pole. On the left, people in red and orange garments hold tall poles and staffs. The scene suggests a dramatic ceremonial performance, possibly a fire-walking or self-immolation enactment, with the crowd watching quietly.
