Outdoor temple-courtyard scene with a stone shrine platform. A young man in orange robes wearing a long multicolour-flower garland stands barefoot, gesturing with an open hand while smiling. Beside him a kneeling man in orange clothes unfolds an orange cloth with a dark object on it. A standing man in orange with palms pressed together in greeting watches. On the left, a man in white dhoti-style clothes stands with his back partly turned. Behind them are a deity murti in blue and gold, a small orange-robed figure in front of it, and a seated figure in orange with a garland at the right, plus brass oil lamps and scattered flower petals.2008-08-07June 01 20092009-06-01April 14 20122012-04-14December 24 20092009-12-24June 28 20102010-06-28June 01 20092009-06-01A photograph of a temple shrine setting. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala sits in an orange-cushioned chair while a man in a white shirt and white dhoti kneels before him, hands on the seated figure's shoulder and head as a blessing gesture. The seated figure has a hand raised to his forehead. Behind them stand a standing figure in orange clothes at left and a golden vessel, garlands of yellow and red flowers, brass kalasha pots and a deity murti on the shrine ledge. Blessing gesture, padapuja-style reverence.2010-07-17A seated figure in an orange saffron robe with a rudraksha mala of dark beads hanging to the waist, with a red tilak mark on the forehead, sits on an orange cushioned peetha/throne with eyes lowered and hands resting on the lap. A man in a white dhoti and white shirt leans forward from the left, one hand on the seated figure's shoulder, in a gesture of blessing or reverence. Behind them is a shrine area with a gold-tone deity murti, brass kalasha pots, a brass lamp, and marigold garlands. A tray of fruit and incense sticks sits at the left edge.2010-07-17A photograph of a temple blessing at dusk before a shrine with a golden deity murti garlanded in marigolds and flowers, flanked by brass lamps. A man in orange robes with long dark hair, standing on the right, holds a plate of offerings in one hand and touches the head of a devotee with the other. The devotee, in a white shirt and white dhoti with a red-and-gold shawl, bows with hands joined near his chest. Another white-clad person stands behind, and an orange cloth hangs on the left. The orange robed man has distinctive long hair and orange clothing, but his appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described by role only as a robed priest. Three people are visible.2010-07-07June 01 20092009-06-01A photograph at an open temple courtyard before a deity shrine decorated with a garland and draped cloth. A man in saffron robes with a long dark garland of red and yellow flowers stands centrally, hands at his sides. A second man in orange robes holds a tray with offerings at left, and a man in white kneels in front, touching the feet of the central figure. Behind them a stone carved panel and a shrine with a painted deity figure in blue and red. On the right, a saffron-clad statue wears white and orange flower garlands.2008-08-07December 15 20092009-12-15
