A photograph of a steeply pitched roof covered in terracotta clay tiles, rising to a gable at the top centre. The gable front has carved wooden or stone ornamentation with decorative brackets and a small figurative relief panel beneath white trim. A coconut palm stands at the left edge against a pale blue sky. No people are visible; the architecture of the ancient Kerala palace roof is the sole subject.
