A large hall filled with many bare-chested men seated cross-legged on mats in white dhotis, many wearing rudraksha malas and sandalwood or ash markings on their foreheads and bodies. Most hold open yellow-covered books and read or chant, with brass plates of fruit, flowers and small offerings in front of them. Large screens on the walls show a red-and-white image, and framed pictures hang on the pink walls. The seated group is large, well over twenty people.
