Night photograph of a temple procession in Tamil Nadu. A large gilded vahana with an ornate golden base and a decorated canopy, garlanded with flower strings and draped with a colourful fabric canopy, sits at the centre. Beside it, a shirtless man in a saffron-and-yellow cloth stands among the crowd, and a seated man in a purple shirt and saffron shawl sits near the base, with a man in white standing behind. Strings of lights and a white-and-green pole frame the scene. Devotees line the foreground and street, and a building with signboards stands behind.
