A decorated deity murti of Murugan (Subramanya) stands on a golden peacock vahana in front of a gold-framed arch with a gold curtain. The central figure wears a crown and jewelled ornaments, holds a spear (vel), and is garlanded with red, yellow and white flower garlands. Two consort figures in orange silk saris with gold jewellery stand on either side. Brass oil lamps (deepam) burn on both sides, and a plate of bananas, flowers, fruit and a coconut-style offering lies before the peacock. No people are visible.
