Outdoor scene at the Simhastha Kumbh Mela grounds on an overcast day. A saffron flag with a smiling portrait of a bald, orange-robed man hangs from a tall wooden post topped with trident-like crossbars. Several men stand on gravel: one in white dhoti with bare chest and garland, one in white with an orange wrap and garland, a seated man in an orange-red dhoti with orange turban and garland, and a bald man in orange robes with a garland on the right holding a folded red cloth. A colorful canopy umbrella and a decorated palanquin-like cart with a red-and-blue fringed canopy stand behind, with parked white cars and a banner nearby.
