August 20 20152015-08-20Indoor scene in a room with white walls, a wooden floor, and a gold-framed red velvet throne at right. A bare-chested elderly man with white beard and rudraksha headband, wearing a saffron-orange garland and beige dhoti with gold border, extends his arm to a figure in a red turban and dark red robe with gold border who has long dark hair and gold bangles. Two other men in dark red robes with rudraksha malas and white-marked foreheads stand behind, one holding a woven basket and another a small plate. Their interaction suggests a ritual offering. a person (appearance cues: long swept hair, red turban, ornate gold-bordered robe, and rudraksha malas on the attendants); the figure in the red turban is turned away and facing the others, so identity is uncertain.
