December 17 20092009-12-17A photograph of a padapuja ritual on a stage with a red and gold backdrop. A seated man in orange robes with long dark hair sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, holding an orange fruit and smiling. Two devotees in white clothes lie prostrate on a striped rug, one kissing the seated man's bare feet while the other bows low. A standing man in orange robes with long curly hair stands at left, and a woman in a white top with a grey shawl stands at right beside a small table with a microphone and a small bottle and offerings. The seated man matches the candidate appearance of Swamiji, with long hair and orange robes, so the presence is probable.2009-11-17December 16 20092009-12-16December 17 20092009-12-17A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back hair, wearing a rudraksha-style beaded mala and a gold ceremonial necklace, sits smiling on an ornate gold throne with red cushions in front of a painted banyan-tree backdrop. Two men in white kurtas stand at left and centre-right, one holding a clear box with red contents toward the seated figure. The scene appears to be a formal devotional offering or honouring at a KAILASA event.2009-12-16A seated figure in orange robes and a multi-strand beaded necklace sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, raising one hand in blessing. A man in a pink collared shirt bends forward at the feet of the seated figure, touching them in reverence. Around the throne stand attendants: a woman in orange on the left, men in white kurta-style shirts with yellow shawls, and a woman in white with a yellow shawl. The backdrop is a large photographic mural of a banyan tree with hanging aerial roots, and a red panel is at the right edge. The setting suggests a padapuja at a temple or ashram hall.2009-12-16A photograph of a ceremony in a plain room with a white wall decorated with red and green lotus borders.
