A devotee in an orange sari and blouse bows forward with hands pressed toward a grey stone shrine platform decorated with marigold and multicolour flower garlands. Behind the altar stand deity murti figures adorned with garlands, including a figure in red and gold, and a small framed image of a red-clad figure wrapped in flowers. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-style vessel and plates of flowers rest on the platform, with a blue curtain and potted plants at the right. The scene suggests a puja or darshan at a temple shrine.
