Devotees in white, saffron and maroon clothes, many with hands folded in anjali, sit before brass trays holding lit oil lamps and offerings, with apples and sweets on a side table. Behind them a deity murti garlanded with flowers stands on a red-draped shelf beside a Nataraja bronze, and a painting of a robed sage under a tree hangs above.
