Beside her a man in a white shirt and dark-rimmed glasses leans in, and behind him a man in a salmon-pink kurta with grey hair looks toward the right. A raised hand in orange cloth reaches in from the right edge, near a table holding brass vessels, a small framed picture and booklets. Several white-clad volunteers and a woman in a blue sari stand among the devotees, and a white ceiling fan is visible at the top.

A central figure with long dark hair wears an orange saffron robe and rudraksha beads, seated at a low white bed-like platform, extending a hand in blessing toward a kneeling devotee. Beside them, a table holds rudraksha malas, small framed pictures, an incense holder and fruit. Around them stand and kneel devotees in white dhotis and saris, some with orange shawls, and a shaved-headed young man in orange robes wearing a lanyard badge. He sits behind a white-draped table laid with framed photographs, small books, a tray of fruit and sweets, and rudraksha beads. Around him, men in white dhotis and orange shawls, one wearing a name badge and holding a ticket, and a man in a light checked shirt lean in. A woman with a long braid in a pink top sits at the lower left, bending toward the table and holding a small object. The appearance-based cues for the central figure are the swept-back hair, saffron robes and layered malas, which is a probable Swamiji identification, though his role is a seated teacher giving attention to devotees at a blessing and healing event.2008-03-27March 27 20082008-03-27A photograph of a healing and blessing session in an indoor hall with a red curtain and fan. A seated person in an orange robe with long dark hair, rudraksha beads and a gold necklace extends a hand to bless a man in a striped shirt who is bowing forward. Around them, devotees in white and orange shawls wait, a bearded older man in white stands at the side, and a shaved-headed monk in orange stands to the right. On the white cloth in front are books, a framed picture, kumkum and offerings. The seated figure's appearance is consistent with a person, given long swept hair, orange robes and rudraksha beads, but the presentation is not conclusive. Several more devotees are visible in the background and foreground.2008-03-27
