A dense outdoor procession at a Kumbh Mela site on a dusty dirt lane lined with yellow barricades. Large ceremonial umbrellas are carried overhead, one a deep blue canopy with gold fringe, another green and another red. Many saffron-robed sadhus and devotees with rudraksha malas walk in the crowd, and uniformed police in khaki and blue stand among them. A white vehicle is visible behind the barricades, with a brick temple-like building and tents in the background. Several bald, bare-chested ascetics in white dhoti and garlands lead the crowd, and women in red and orange saris look on. Roughly a hundred or more people are visible.
