A photograph of a group of men seated in white dhotis and white shawls during a ritual gathering. Many have white and yellow tilaka marks and rudraksha malas around their necks, and several hold small ritual items in their hands while offering or chanting. Brass plates, small oil lamps and a floor covered with orange and cloth mats are visible in front of them, with a few people in the background seated in white. The scene resembles a puja or satsang with participants performing devotional actions together.2010-10-22October 28 20102010-10-28September 20 20102010-09-20October 10 20102010-10-10October 28 20102010-10-28January 29 20112011-01-29October 29 20102010-10-29October 26 20102010-10-26A photograph of a seated puja in an indoor hall. Many shaven-headed men in white dhotis and shawls sit on orange-red mats with brass lamps and vessels before them. Several wear rudraksha malas and white tripundra markings on their foreheads. In the lower right foreground, a man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and folded palms sits with a book open before him, and a man in orange with a grey beard sits lower left, both appearing to take part in the ritual. Their faces show concentration. The mood is devotional and orderly.2010-10-19October 29 20102010-10-29 +1 copiesSeptember 30 20112011-09-30A group of shaved-headed men in white dhotis and shawls sit cross-legged on a glossy floor during a ritual. Several hold small oil lamps with flames, while others hold brass bells and kalasha-style brass vessels on a low orange cloth. Some wear rudraksha malas and white sandalwood or vibhuti markings on their foreheads and arms. A young child in an orange shirt sits at the left edge, and an open book and brass plates with offerings lie in front. The setting appears to be a puja or pada puja with lamps and bells.2010-10-12
