A large group of boys in dark navy uniform shirts and track pants practice a martial-arts style stance on a pale tiled floor, with knees bent, feet apart, and fists raised near their chests. Some wear wristwatches. A few are barefoot and one boy in the foreground has his eyes closed. Behind them are a bookshelf, a wall-mounted sign reading Nithyanandam, and hanging colourful cloth banners.

Water bottles sit on the floor and a few yoga mats lie at the edges. A framed portrait hangs on the far wall above a table with a white cloth, and hanging tassels decorate the upper left. Near the right foreground a man in a grey shirt and black pants sits on the floor with his legs stretched out, and a person in a light blue shirt is partly visible at the lower right.
