A relief kitchen at an outdoor cyclone-relief camp in a village, with palm trees and a white building behind. Large aluminium pots hold cooked rice with vegetables in the foreground. Volunteers in white shirts and white hairnets serve food: a man in white with a rudraksha-style necklace stands at right beside a woman in a patterned sari, and men in white shirts stand at left reaching toward the food. Another woman in a purple sari walks in the background. A striped awning shades the scene, and sacks and bags are stacked on a ledge at right.

Large steel cooking vessels sit on open wood fires on bare ground. Several people in white shirts and dhotis, and women in saris, wear blue-green hair caps and work around the pots and metal trays of cooked rice and prepared food. Sacks, plastic packets and bowls lie on the ground. Palm trees and a boundary wall are visible behind, and a child stands at the right.
