A large, sprawling banyan tree dominates a dry, sandy clearing in warm late-afternoon light. Its thick trunk and many aerial roots hang from wide, spreading branches with green leaves, and a dark hollow opening sits at the base of the trunk. Long hanging cords or vines drop from the upper canopy on the right. A small stone or pillar marker stands near the ground, with a low wooden fence and rough bamboo structure on the left and other trees in the background. No people are visible.June 21 20132013-06-21October 25 20122012-10-25August 23 20152015-08-23August 11 20052005-08-11A photograph of a large, old banyan-type tree seen from below, its thick grey trunk and spreading branches filling the upper frame, with pale green leaves and white aerial roots hanging across the canopy. Dense green shrubs with small pale pink flowers cover the lower foreground and a patch of open greenery shows through the trunk area. No people, figures or ritual activity are visible in the scene.2007-08-11August 18 20162016-08-18February 18 20062006-02-18October 12 20172017-10-122004 - First Sannyas Deeksha At AdiKailaasa2004-07-02October 25 20122012-10-25October 25 20122012-10-25
