A dense outdoor street crowd in the evening, mostly men in plain white dhotis and shirts with some in pink, striped and checked shirts, and women in saris including a pink one and a red-orange one, several with hands raised or outstretched toward an unseen focal point. A white van passes at upper left, and bicycles and a parked vehicle line the roadside. A man in the foreground in white with his back to the camera holds a small silver plate. Several men wear white forehead markings and a dark-haired woman wears jasmine in her hair. The scene reads as a ratha procession crowd; no specific a person figure is visible.
