A long-haired man in orange robes with a red tilak sits on an orange-and-red patterned cloth, a steel bowl of yellow rice in front of him, serving food with his hands while smiling. A bald man in white clothes on the right holds a paper plate of rice, and another bald man in white sits at lower left beside a steel bowl of rice. Behind them, people in white and orange scarves hold leaf plates of food, a microphone stand stands nearby, and devotees are seated in a crowd. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair and orange robes, seated centrally in the orange-clothed role of the server.2010-09-02September 02 20102010-09-02 +1 copiesAnnadhan in 20102010-01-01 +1 copiesAnnadhan in 20102010-01-01 +2 copiesNight outdoor scene of a food distribution. A long-haired man with dark curly hair wearing a saffron-orange robe sits on the ground and serves yellow grain prasad from a large steel bowl onto a leaf plate held by a bald man in white dhoti and white shirt with a red tilak on his forehead, rudraksha mala around his neck and a green-and-gold shawl. Around them devotees hold out leaf plates, including a boy in a red-and-white striped shirt, a woman in a pink kurta with blue dupatta, a woman in white with a white head cloth, and a person in blue salwar. A woman with long dark wavy hair in an orange robe leans over a large steel pot of yellow rice, serving from it with her hand onto a plate held by a bearded man in an orange robe with glasses. Behind them a man in white clothes with a red shawl and a beaded mala stands and watches, and a woman in white with a red shawl is at the left edge. A bald man in an orange robe is seen from behind at the lower right. Scattered orange-robed figures surround the pot. She wears a white top and an orange-red shawl and holds a small quantity of cooked food in her cupped hands above a large steel bowl of rice-like food on an orange cloth. Behind them, people in white dhotis and white garments stand in a hall; a microphone stand, a silver-coloured tray, a standing fan and a gilded deity murti or ornament occupy the foreground. Visible people total about six or more standing and kneeling figures.2010-11-12A photograph of a ritual food offering at an open-sided pavilion with a tiled floor and a large portrait of a smiling man in a white turban on the right wall. A woman in a white sari with an orange shawl kneels at left, holding out a handful of food toward a seated person in orange robes with red and white flower garlands. The seated person's long hair falls past the shoulders, and a metal plate of rice stands on a banana leaf with more food, fruit and a steel cup in the foreground. Behind them, standing people in white clothes watch, several with hands clasped, and a cameraman in white with a shoulder camera films at left. Steel pots sit on a table in the background. Orange-robed sannyasi and devotee roles fit the scene; the seated figure's appearance is consistent with the page's a person claim through orange robes, garlands and long hair, though not conclusive.2006-10-12
