Outdoor ritual scene at a temple-like site. In the foreground a large white Shiva lingam draped with a multicolored flower garland of pink, yellow, red and green blooms. Behind it, a man with a long dark beard and bare chest wearing a saffron-orange dhoti stands on a metal staircase, with a young attendant in orange beside him and another person partly visible. Above them a canopy with a white and rainbow-striped fringed umbrella is held on a gold pole. Red-and-white stepped platform, a chain-link fence, black water tanks and green tarpaulin fill the background among trees. No clear appearance-based cues qualify the bearded man as a person, so he is described by role only.
