Night outdoor ritual at a homa fire pit with a large open flame in the centre. Three seated priests in white dhotis lead the ceremony: one on the left in white, one in red cloth with a rudraksha-style mala, and one in white with a shawl at the centre, reading from a paper and tending offerings. Behind the fire stands a richly decorated deity murti or shrine canopy garlanded with orange and yellow marigolds. To the right, a large ornate palanquin-style arrangement hung with multicoloured flower garlands, gold ornaments and a striped canopy shelters a golden figure. Striped woven mats cover the ground, with brass pots, bowls and a small kalasha nearby.
