Bare arms and a bare-skinned forearm wearing beaded bracelets are visible. Another lit brass lamp sits to the right near a bare foot. Behind them, several other lamps burn in a row on a floor set with striped cloth in pink, red, green and purple, and brass plates with offerings. A copper water bottle stands in the left foreground. Only a few partial figures are visible, so this looks like a lamp-lit puja or aarti with participants seated along the floor.2017-01-22January 22 20172017-01-22January 22 20172017-01-22Close-up photograph of a ritual aarti moment. In the foreground, a hand with a manicured thumb and fingers holds a small brass oil lamp with a lit flame on a long brass handle. Blurred figures in the background wear orange and white clothing, with additional lit lamps glowing softly beside them. The setting appears to be a temple or puja space with brass vessels and an altar area. No face is clearly shown, and no one is identifiable as a person from visible cues.2017-01-22
