A photograph of a ritual fire offering inside a niche with a white arched top. A flame burns in a metal lamp at the centre, framed by pink and white flower garlands draped on the niche. Two people perform the ritual: a woman in an orange-red sari with gold border and gold ornaments on her hair and neck holds a metal vessel toward the flame, while a bare-chested man in white dhoti with gold border and a sacred thread pours from a metal pot. Brass vessels and oil lamps sit on the stone ledge below, and lit lamps glow along the niche edges.
