A photo from a large assembly hall where a figure in a turquoise turban and white robe with a turquoise shawl stands with both palms raised, placing a hand on the head of a young woman in a white and yellow sari. She holds her hands together in a folded, receptive gesture. Behind them a dense crowd of mostly men in white shirts and plaid shirts stands among white pillars, with a blue electric fan at the right edge. The figure is an appearance-based a person candidate, identified by the turban and flowing turquoise shawl with white robes, and is shown in the act of giving blessing to a devotee in the crowded hall.

In the foreground a man in a turquoise and white turban and long white robe, with long dark hair and a white shawl with turquoise edging, stands with his hands raised toward a woman in white who bows with her head lowered as his palms touch her head. Beside them a man in a checked shirt watches, and a man in a white shirt wears a rudraksha mala. A blue electric fan and a white pillar are visible at right, and a shaved-headed man in a white shirt is partly visible at left.2008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09A photograph of a large indoor hall packed with rows of seated and standing attendees, many in white or pale shirts. In the foreground a man in a turquoise and white turban and a long white garment with a turquoise shawl extends his right hand and places it on the head of a young woman in a white dress with gold jewelry and bangles, who has her palms pressed together. A young man in a light checked shirt stands beside her, and a wall fan is visible at right. This appears to be a darshan blessing. Swamiji (probable) cues here are the long swept-back hair, turquoise turban and shawl; the page indicates he is present at this event.2008-02-09A large indoor hall crowded with many people, mostly men in white shirts and dhotis, with lights and ceiling fans visible. In the foreground, a seated figure in a turquoise-blue turban, white robe and a red-and-white flower garland places a hand on the forehead of a young man in a plaid yellow-and-white shirt with an ID badge, eyes closed. Beside them, a young woman in a pale green kurta raises her palms in greeting. This appears to be darshan at a convention; the turbaned figure is a person giving blessing, identified by the turquoise turban, white robe and garland, and the page's context, not by the face.2008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09
