A photograph taken from behind inside a small wood-panelled home shrine. A figure in an orange saffron shawl and orange wrap, with an orange head covering, bends over a wooden puja table holding a small brass deity murti and a lamp, with white flower garlands. A woman in a white sari with a gold border stands beside, hands joined in namaskar, her long braid decorated with white flowers. Framed images on the wall include a purple-backed picture of deities, a painting of Saraswati playing a veena, and a Krishna-Radha print.2007-08-17October 23 20062006-10-23January 03 20122012-01-03October 23 20112011-10-23October 15 20082008-10-15January 03 20122012-01-03October 23 20112011-10-23A small shrine niche with black tiled backing on a pale green wall. A framed portrait garlanded with white and orange flowers stands on a ledge with brass lamps and a small brass kalasha-like object. Three people face the shrine with hands folded in prayer: a woman on the left in a white sari with gold border and a long black braid with pink flowers, a woman in the centre in an orange garment with a red-and-white garland, and a person on the right in an orange robe and shawl with long dark hair. Two of them appear to be in the orange robes of renunciates. The portrait shows a man in orange with a beaded necklace and long dark hair, a depiction candidate for a person, though the appearance is only partly clear.2010-01-19October 23 20112011-10-23A photograph inside a small home shrine room with white walls and framed devotional prints of deities hung along the walls. A woman in an orange sleeveless top and orange cloth, wearing a white flower garland, faces away from the camera and holds a lit oil lamp toward the altar. Beside her a figure in orange robes with a striped border stands with palms pressed together in prayer, facing the altar. On the right, an older woman in white with glasses also presses her palms together. The wooden altar cabinet holds framed photos, marigold flowers, a brass tray and offerings, and a framed black-and-white portrait with a white garland sits in front. Four people are visible.2010-01-10October 25 20062006-10-25January 08 20102010-01-08 +1 copies
