Most wear white ritual clothing; several women wear green and patterned saris and some men wear white dhotis and caps. Many have hands raised in namaskar or folded in prayer, and some are seated with eyes closed. On the left, a black stone Nandi bull with a marigold garland lies at the water's edge. Brick and stone terraces and a metal railing line the bank behind the seated crowd, with more people visible on upper steps. The scene suggests a collective puja or darshan at an outdoor tank.2016-03-07December 18 20162016-12-18
