Photo 11163989A photograph of a golden Shiva lingam set on a gold-carved peetha base and wrapped in a golden cobra hood, decorated with garlands of yellow marigolds, purple flowers and red roses. Behind it, a figure in an orange and gold-trimmed garment with a green lower cloth and a gold necklace stands with a staff, and two tall brass oil lamps flank the shrine. The setting suggests a temple-style abhishekam or puja arrangement. No people are clearly visible in the scene apart from the figure, who is partly cropped and represented as a statue or deity murti.2010-10-12A person in an orange-saffron robe, with the head and arms covered in a matching shawl, stands at the left edge reaching toward an ornate deity murti. The murti is a Shiva lingam-style form with a gold crown, a silver face-piece, and a large rudraksha-style garland, draped with white, yellow, green and red marigold-style garlands. Behind it hang a dark backdrop with colourful trim, a gold arch and a silver trident-like ornament. Brass oil lamps stand in front on a white altar cloth, and the floor is tiled. This appears to be a puja or abhishekam at a temple shrine.2008-05-03Photograph of a decorated altar shrine with a central deity murti draped in multicolored striped garlands and wearing a crown, flanked by two smaller standing figures in similar garlands. Tall pillars wrapped in colorful patterned fabric rise behind the altar. In the foreground, a dark stone object wrapped in a turquoise garland and topped with white flower garlands sits on a counter, with oil lamps, brass lamps, a small shrine canopy, and fruit offerings nearby.A photograph of a decorated shrine with a central Shiva lingam-style murti draped in multicolored flower garlands, a golden crown and a tall ornamental headpiece, with horizontal white tripundra marks on its forehead. The figure wears a purple silk garment with gold border and gold-embroidered cloth, a dark maroon head covering, and a gold armlet on the raised arm. Dense garlands of red, yellow, white and green flowers hang across the body and around a large gold pot-shaped base. Strings of rudraksha-like beads and a silver chain lie at the base. A brass oil lamp with a lit flame stands at the right, with a gold ritual lamp and a pink flower offering beyond. Flower garlands in multicolour strands frame the background.2016-12-17A photograph of a decorated Shiva lingam set on a white-draped altar, with a dark stone form wrapped in an orange cloth and adorned with a silver trident-shaped crest and red gem. Layered garlands of yellow, red, green, orange and white flowers frame the lingam, along with rudraksha beads and a silver ornamental collar. Three brass vessels stand in front, and a gilded figure with an orange turban stands at the left edge beside a golden arch. No living people are visible, so this is a deity murti worship display.2007-11-11A photograph of an ornately decorated deity murti with a golden face and gold ornaments, seated beneath a golden arch with five green gemstone drops. A red-and-orange cloth covers the central sculpture, and a small framed portrait is set in its chest area with a gold necklace. Thick garlands of yellow marigolds, red roses and pink flowers wrap the figure, with a heap of orange and pink flowers below on a white cloth. Two gold-faced figures stand behind, one with a trident and leopard-print garment, the other in a gold-embroidered orange sari with a golden crown. Multicolour flower garlands frame the scene.
