A priest in a saffron-orange robe and orange cloth stands at the centre, raising a lit lamp or bell-like vessel toward the platform, while a red cloth is pulled down in front of a granite pillar. Several men in saffron and white dhotis stand with palms joined in namaskar, some wearing orange shawls, one holding a ritual conch or bell. A woman in red and orange sari stands nearby. An orange and red banner with a bird motif hangs from the ceiling. Whether the central priest is a particular individual cannot be determined from appearance.2007-08-09A photograph of a temple courtyard with a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes seated cross-legged on a raised stone platform, tending brass vessels, a lamp and silver puja items. Several devotees in white dress stand close, one woman with a long braid and a rudraksha-style bead necklace, another with hands extended toward the platform. Grey stone walls, a corrugated roof and a stone carving frame the scene. a person is seated as the officiant; this matches the page's account of a paduka procession flag-off at a temple.2007-02-24A photograph of a temple courtyard where a group of people in saffron and orange robes stand near a row of brass oil lamps on a metal ledge.
