Photograph of a devotional gathering under a canopy decorated with green mango-leaf festoons and multicoloured striped cloth. A shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala stands on a red-petal-strewn floor, hands pressed together, with a few men in white dhotis and a woman in a pink sari behind him. On the right, a woman in an orange-and-gold sari wears a heavy garland of red and yellow flowers and stands before a wooden platform. Several onlookers crowd the left side, some folding their hands in namaskar. Bright stage lighting falls from above, and the scene suggests a darshan or pada puja at a devotee's home.
