Inside a temple sanctum, a bald, bare-chested priest in an orange-saffron dhoti with a gold-edged cloth stands at a stone ledge, holding a silver plate of pink rose petals and scattering them. He wears a gold headband, a dark rudraksha-style mala, gold armlets and rings, and white sacred ash markings on his forehead and shoulders. Behind him, a row of black stone lingams or deity forms is draped in white and red-striped cloth, lit by recessed white lamps, with more petals scattered on the marble. A devotee in orange stands at the left edge. Appearance is not sufficient to confirm an identity, so the figure is described by role as a priest performing a flower offering.2012-05-07 +1 copiesMay 13 20122012-05-13 +1 copiesA photograph inside a temple shrine.
