Outdoor photo of a crowd of devotees raising a tall bamboo pole topped with an orange saffron flag against a blue sky with cumulus clouds and a green-brown hillside with a small structure on top. Several men in white shirts and a man in a checked blue-and-green shirt in the foreground hold or reach for the pole. Women in white and cream saris, one in a green blouse with a long braid, stand among them, some with hands raised. The scene suggests a flag-hoisting ceremony.
