A photograph of a buffet meal service in a bright hall with pink curtains and framed pictures on the walls. Several volunteers in plain white clothes serve food: a woman in a white top with a hair band uses tongs to serve from a steel tray, a young woman in white with a sling bag helps alongside, and a young man in an all-white outfit carries a tray of bread rolls and bowls. An older woman in a white sari with gold bangles sits at left, and other people stand in the background, including a man in a white shirt. Steel chafing dishes hold sambar, vegetable curry, a white creamy dish, bread rolls and fried snacks on a red-draped table. Visible people are roughly a dozen, with others partly hidden in the background.
