February 09 20082008-02-09Indoor darshan session in a large hall crowded with seated and standing devotees, many in white. In the foreground a man in a checked short-sleeved shirt raises both arms with a white cloth in one hand while a robed teacher in a turquoise turban and white robe with a turquoise shawl reaches out and places his hand on the man's head. A woman in white in the lower left bends forward with her palms together. Behind them a red-and-gold shawl is draped over a seated figure, and a white cooler fan stands at the right edge of the frame. Colourful banners hang on the wall behind the crowd. Probable Swamiji (turquoise turban, long swept-back hair, turquoise shawl) giving blessing to the devotee.2008-02-09A photograph of a seated figure in a white embroidered kurta with a turquoise shawl edged in red and a matching turquoise turban, long dark hair falling behind, a rudraksha-style necklace and gold bangle visible. The figure's hand rests on the forehead of a young man in a yellow-and-white checked shirt, while another man raises his hand above them. A young woman in a white sari with pink border and hair in a braid, and a girl at lower left, watch closely. Behind them a large crowd of seated devotees in white fills the hall, with a white cooler unit at upper right and white cushions on the right. The figure has distinctive long hair, a turban and saffron-toned shawl cues, consistent with a probable Swamiji (probable) giving darshan to devotees.2008-02-09A seated man in a teal turban and long dark hair and beard sits on a white chair with a teal and orange shawl draped over a white garment, raising a hand toward a woman in a purple top and blue sari who reaches toward him with her palm outward while a young man in a striped shirt stands beside them. Behind them a large crowd of mostly young men in white shirts fills a hall, and a white air cooler stands at right. Swamiji (probable): the seated man wears the turban, flowing hair and beard, and layered saffron and teal shawl of the cues in question, and is giving darshan to the devotees at the convention.2008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09A standing figure in a turquoise turban and white robe with a turquoise shawl and long dark hair presses one hand to the forehead of a young man in an olive shirt, while others stand or kneel in a large hall of white-clad devotees. A woman in a pink-trimmed white sari kneels in the foreground with palms raised, wearing gold bangles and a beaded necklace.
