Outdoor ritual gathering on a dirt ground under a red canopy, with a white-framed structure at the centre and a green mat beneath it. A man in a white dhoti and shawl stands at the centre, with an attendant in orange nearby and another in a white dhoti beside a raised structure. Dense crowds in white and cream clothes sit and stand around the ritual area, many with palms raised in namaskar or clapping, and women in saris and salwar kameez stand at the right. Long bamboo poles frame the scene, and a tiled building and parked cars are visible behind. In the foreground a decorated offering tray with a patterned floral arrangement sits on a table. The setting suggests a ritual or puja performed for a large assembly.

In the foreground at right, a person with long dark hair in orange robes sits on a white cushion with an orange-bordered cloth, seen from behind. Men in white and a drummer holding a drum stand along a freshly dug dirt path, and several people in orange and white attend nearby. A small corrugated-roof structure and a red-and-white patterned mat appear in the scene. The seated figure in orange has long hair and swept-back appearance cues, but the view from behind is too limited to confirm identity, so the a person candidate is uncertain.2008-12-31December 22 20102010-12-22
