October 23 20062006-10-23A close photograph of a copper-coloured kalasha-style ritual vessel with a stepped, tiered top, wrapped at its base in gold silk cloth with a gold brocade border. A thick garland of magenta and pink flowers encircles the vessel, and yellow marigold garlands are visible at the right edge. The object rests on a red-painted wooden surface with flecks of yellow, and a white cloth sits blurred at the left. No people are visible.2010-12-26October 03 20112011-10-03September 03 20072007-09-03A photograph of a polished copper or bronze Sri Yantra-shaped object, a layered stepped peetha with a stacked triangular-and-square geometric top, resting on an orange cloth. The metal base is decorated with ridged bands and surrounded by scattered flower petals and blossoms: red and pink petals, yellow marigold-type flowers, and white jasmine-like flowers with green stems. No people are visible, and no one is shown performing an action. The orange cloth and the flowers around the object suggest a ritual setting.2010-09-02October 03 20112011-10-03September 24 20172017-09-24 +2 copiesJuly 05 20202020-07-05Close photograph of a ceremonial brass sri yantra or meru-style object on a brass tray, its stepped gold-coloured tiers dusted with vermilion kumkum and draped with white jasmine garlands. It is draped with a fold of golden-yellow silk edged with gold zari ribbon, and encircled by a thick garland of magenta and pink flowers. A small rudraksha bead is visible on the lower right of the garland. Behind it are a red cloth and an ornately carved bronze panel with leaf-scroll patterns. No people are clearly visible. The object appears to be a ritual vessel or deity-related item being decorated for worship, possibly during puja.2010-12-26A silver stepped Meru structure, a tiered pyramid of square and rounded tiers, sits on an orange cloth at the centre of a ritual setting. Its top is decorated with red and white flowers, and the base is ringed with scattered red roses, yellow marigolds and white blossoms. Behind it, a brass bowl holds red petals and an oil lamp flame burns beside a plate of yellow and red flowers. A small silver vessel rests at the left edge. No people are visible in the frame.2010-09-02
