Outdoor ritual yagna in a courtyard in front of white-walled buildings. A brick-lined fire pit with a sand base and dried grass sits on the ground, and a brass oil lamp stands at its edge. A woman in a white and yellow sari with a white head covering and a beaded gold necklace stands beside a kneeling man in a white dhoti and orange shawl who tends the lamp. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand or walk nearby, and a woman in a green sari stands at left. Flat green and pink woven mats are laid on the ground. Small offering bowls with fruit and flowers sit around the fire pit.
