A decorated ratha-style cart with a gold-carved front and blue cloth carries an ornate canopy hung with red and orange garlands and a green cloth, with a deity murti at its centre and trident-tipped staffs on either side. A man in an orange dhoti, bare-chested, with a tall ornate white crown and beaded necklaces, stands at the cart holding a lit flame and a cloth. A woman in a yellow-green sari stands at the rear of the cart, and a crowd of children and adults in white, orange, blue and pink clothing stands at the left, many with hands joined in namaskar. A person with a camera stands near the cart. Appearance-based candidate for a person is uncertain, so the crowd and cart are described by role; the figure at the cart is a priest or attendant in ceremonial dress.2011-10-31December 01 20112011-12-01October 31 20102010-10-31 +1 copiesA photograph of an outdoor scene beside a building with a palm tree behind it. A person in an orange saffron robe with long dark curly hair stands in the right foreground, holding an ornate gold kalasha-style vessel with both hands while extending a hand toward a young man. The young man wears a white shirt and white dhoti-style clothing with a dark rudraksha-like mala necklace and gold bangles, and smiles with eyes lowered. To the left, a young man in a yellow-and-white striped shirt stands with his back partly turned, and a woman in white smiles in the background. Marigold petals are scattered on the scene. The robed figure's appearance is consistent with the page's a person reference, based on long swept hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha mala, though this is an appearance-based label only.2009-12-23November 06 20112011-11-06June 24 20142014-06-24 +1 copiesNight photo of a procession at a temple or outdoor event.
