Outdoor temple procession on a dusty ground under a bright sky. A large flower-decorated palanquin with a yellow and orange canopy and tasselled hangings carries a seated figure in orange robes with garlands, presented on a golden-yellow garlanded platform. Crowds surround it: men and women in white dhotis and kurtas, and devotees in saffron-orange clothing with yellow scarves, several with hands folded in greeting. Brass horns and ceremonial metalwork are visible at left. Tents and a blue-roofed structure stand behind the crowd.
