December 24 20082008-12-24A photograph of a temple shrine with a figure in an orange sleeveless top and orange dhoti seen from behind, standing with hands joined in front of a golden-bordered arched niche. Inside the niche stand two colourful deity murti: one with a trident and a red crown wearing a green and yellow garment, and a companion in a yellow and pink skirt. Both are draped with multicoloured garlands. Gold oil lamps flank the shrine, and a gold vessel and a small green-clad figure sit at the base. A carved gold-trimmed seat with lion heads is in the foreground.2010-10-13 +1 copiesSeptember 21 20102010-09-21December 24 20082008-12-24October 17 20102010-10-17December 24 20082008-12-24 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple shrine with a large stone platform in the foreground. The murti is adorned with thick garlands of orange, red, and purple flowers and sits under an ornate golden arch. Two orange-clad figures are seated or standing in front of the murti. A brass oil lamp, a metal kalasha-style pot and flower offerings sit on the platform. Behind the shrine, drummers in white dhotis play drums, and an orange flag hangs on a pole at left. Carved stone pillars frame the scene.2010-12-27A photograph inside a temple shrine with carved stone walls and gold-painted arch. In the foreground a person with long dark hair, seen from behind, wears a plain orange sleeveless garment and faces the shrine. Before them stand golden murti figures of a male deity in an orange turban and a female deity in a blue and gold sari, both garlanded with yellow and red marigold strands. A golden throne-like peetha sits in front with a small seated figure in orange and white, and gold lamp stands line the sides. A red-cushioned orange chair is in the lower foreground.2010-07-04July 08 20102010-07-08A photograph of a stone temple shrine with carved granite pillars and a gold-arched niche. Inside, two painted deity murtis stand with crowns and garlands of marigolds and multicoloured flowers; one wears a green and pink lower garment. A golden kalasha-like vessel sits on a pedestal before them. In the foreground a single person in an orange-saffron robe and wrap stands with their back to the camera, facing the shrine in worship, with a red garland around the neck. Brass lamp stands line the shrine, and red-and-white railings and green foliage appear at the right edge.2010-10-12 +1 copiesA photograph of a shrine inside a temple-like hall. Two large golden-coloured deity murti sit side by side under an ornate golden arch, draped with yellow, pink and purple garlands. The figure on the left holds a trident and wears a red-orange turban and jewelled necklaces; the figure on the right wears a pink-purple sari with a crown and jewelled adornments. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, and a white-draped altar holds brass vessels and offerings. In the foreground, a person with long dark hair in a sleeveless orange top and a white shawl stands with hands folded in prayer, facing the deities. A small blue-robed figure with a turban and gold necklace appears on the altar, with a white-draped figure beside it. Red curtains frame the right side.2010-09-15A person in orange saffron robes with long dark hair and a golden headband stands with palms pressed together in prayer before a shrine. The shrine holds richly decorated deity murtis draped with garlands of yellow, red, purple and white flowers, with orange and purple cloth backdrops, a brass oil lamp and a silver kalasha with flowers on the stone ledge. The figure's back is turned to the camera, and another person in white stands in the background behind a red railing among stone temple pillars. The person's identity is an appearance-based judgement from long swept hair, saffron clothing and a golden headband: a person is shown in prayer, but this is uncertain from the back view.2010-12-27
