Photo of a temple shrine with a stone pillared canopy. On the left stands a large deity murti in green, red and purple silk with gold border, holding a small figure. At centre is a white-draped shivalinga-style lingam beneath a gold cobra hood. In front, a seated man with long dreadlocked hair and white body markings wears saffron cloth and presses his palms together. Beside him, a bearded man in saffron robes kneels in prayer, and a woman in orange sits with folded hands. A brass lamp, a tray of bananas and fruit, flowers and a kalasha-like vessel lie on the floor. Other people stand in the background, and a printed copyright caption appears on the right.

At centre, a shaved-headed figure in an orange-red shawl and a red-orange dhoti sits on the ground behind a white-draped pedestal holding a tall shivalinga with a golden snake-hood and a white head covering. In front of the pedestal stand a golden box, a brass vessel, a silver plate, bananas and fruit on a tray, and scattered flower petals. To the left, a large statue of a deity in green, purple and orange silk. On the right, a bearded ascetic with long matted hair sits in orange robes and marks on the body, while a standing priest in orange garments and an orange head cloth bends forward to make an offering. The scene is a puja at a Shiva linga.2007-08-09August 09 20072007-08-09August 09 20072007-08-09August 09 20072007-08-09August 09 20072007-08-09A photograph inside a stone temple pavilion with carved pillars and a red velvet drape. Two deity murtis stand on a white-draped platform, one with a green and orange crown and garlands, the other in red with a crown. A man with long dark hair in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl stands barefoot before the murtis, alongside a man in a yellow robe. In the foreground a second figure in orange robes bends toward the platform, with brass lamps, a kalasha and offering vessels arranged in front. A possible a person cue: the standing man has long swept-back hair and saffron ornate clothing, but identity is uncertain from appearance alone. The scene appears to be a puja or padapuja before the murtis.2007-08-09August 09 20072007-08-09August 09 20072007-08-09A photograph inside a white stone pavilion with carved pillars and red velvet drapes. Two large deity murtis sit on a white draped platform: the male figure wears an orange-and-green turban, a jeweled necklace and a green and purple garment, and holds a staff; the female figure wears a red and gold blouse, a crown and a red-and-orange skirt, with a gilded peetha or throne behind them. In front, brass oil lamps stand on the platform. At the left, three seated sadhus in orange robes sit on the floor, one with long matted hair, and at the right two seated men in saffron and yellow clothing face the murtis. A devotee's orange-clad figure is partly visible at the far left edge.2007-08-09
