A stage at an outdoor pandal event with a row of ornate gold-and-red thrones on a lavender-draped dais, decorated with marigold garlands. Seven or eight seated figures sit on the stage: several in saffron and orange robes, one in a white shirt and light trousers in the centre, and others in white. A large white banner behind them shows six framed circular and rectangular portraits in a row and the printed Kannada text 'ಜನವರಿ -1, 2007' (January 1, 2007) with a partial Kannada event title. Golden kalashas stand at the front of the stage. The banner's portraits are printed images, not physical people, and no individual is identified here.
