Close-up photograph of a broad round brass tray or kalasha-like vessel holding dark liquid with a small burning wick or flame rising from one edge, the flame leaping up at the right. A ring of red-orange flower petals or marigold-like garland encircles the rim. Beneath the tray, an orange-saffron cloth is visible. Concrete grey pavement forms the background. The scene suggests an oil lamp or camphor offering during puja or aarti.
