Inside a white canopy tent at a temple event, a figure in orange robes with a red shawl and long dark hair sits on an ornate gold throne with a floral-garlanded canopy and a trishul placed beside it. Devotees in white, yellow and green saris and white dhotis stand in a line on a blue carpet scattered with petals, offering flowers and reaching forward to the seated figure. A rock-work backdrop holds painted deity figures, and a cameraman in orange stands at the right. The scene suggests a padapuja-style honouring of the seated figure, though the seated person's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2009-07-07A photograph inside a white tented pavilion where devotees gather around an ornate gold throne with a carved gold back. A central figure sits on the throne with long dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron robe and a multi-coloured flower garland, with a crown-like gold element above. Some attendants and devotees in white and orange clothing stand nearby; a young man in an orange robe with a gold necklace stands at left, a man in a white shirt and orange shawl is in the foreground, and women in white saris and orange shawls stand at right. The scene suggests a devotional darshan or reception with attendants offering respect to the seated figure.2009-07-07A photograph of a ceremonial gathering in a tented hall, with a large ornate gold-and-red throne backed by white and red floral garlands at left. A person seated on the throne wears an orange-red garment, a multi-coloured floral garland and a gold necklace, and is receiving folded hands and a brass offering plate. Around them, devotees in white clothes and orange shawls stand close; a woman in a white sari with a rudraksha mala holds a brass plate, and an older man in white looks on. Electric fans and small offerings sit on a side table. The cues are a visible throne, garland and gold adornments; the person seated on the throne appears to have long hair and orange-red clothing, so the appearance is a probable Swamiji (probable) candidate, present in person, while the surrounding people are devotees.2009-07-07July 17 20082008-07-17July 07 20092009-07-07A seated man in a red and orange robe with long dark hair and a multi-strand flower garland sits on an ornate gold throne with a carved backrest and a golden trident-shaped finial at left.
