Photograph of an elaborately decorated Durga-style image in a temple or pandal setting. A large multi-armed goddess murti with a red and gold sari, a trident-like weapon and a lion mount stands on the left, flanked by a second female deity murti in yellow and green adornment with garlands. A small blue-skinned male figure sits between them. On the right a seated man in a red-brown dhoti and orange shawl wears a pink floral garland and sits on a silver throne-like seat with a rudraksha-style setting; his face is partly visible. Two physical people are visible.

On the left, a multi-armed goddess with black hair, a red sari and a yellow-garlanded body holds weapons and rides a lion; beside her, a blue-skinned male figure stands. On the right, a goddess in yellow robes holds a veena, with a seated man in an orange-and-white shawl and white garland offering a puja at a silver throne. Yellow marigold garlands, oil lamps and flower offerings surround the murtis, and an ornate yellow aureole with blue eyes frames them. The seated man is visible but his appearance is not clear enough to identify him, so his role is described only as a devotee performing puja.2017-09-28September 28 20172017-09-28
