A ceremonial stage set before red curtains with a large golden throne at the centre, topped by a green canopy and draped in garlands. A seated figure in orange and white clothing sits on the throne platform, flanked by a golden ornate structure. Four bare-chested young male attendants stand in a row in front of striped multicoloured mats, wearing orange dhotis and gold waist cloths, holding brass oil lamps in outstretched hands. A drum sits at the left edge, and a cameraman with tripod is at the right. The scene matches a Karthigai Deepam lamp-lighting ceremony, with lamps held by attendants before the throne.
