Several large stainless steel pots sit on a bare earthen floor under a shelter, filled with individually wrapped packets of food, some in silver foil and others in clear plastic. A blue Sony shopping bag and a red bag rest on a chair behind them, and a person's white-clad legs are visible at the edge. The setting suggests food distribution at a relief camp.

The packets are silvery and wrinkled, apparently prepared food packs. No people are visible. The photograph is a close, dim view of the containers on a dark floor, with a small purple bird logo at the top left and a copyright notice at the lower right.2012-01-03January 03 20122012-01-03January 03 20122012-01-03January 04 20122012-01-04January 06 20122012-01-06A large round aluminium bowl sits on bare dirt ground with patchy grass, filled with many small food packets wrapped in clear plastic, containing a pale yellow-cream rice-like food. Partial legs are visible at the top edge: a person in an orange and green sari with bare feet, and another in dark trousers and white-and-red sneakers. Food packing for annadhan distribution is suggested by the packets, but no event is named in the image itself.2012-01-04A photograph inside the open back of a vehicle with blue-painted slatted sides and a metal grille behind. Several large stainless steel basins hold packets of food wrapped in clear plastic bags and foil, apparently prepared meals for annadaan relief distribution. The bigger one on the right is filled with rows of foil-wrapped packets, silver foil crinkled over dark brown food portions. A smaller similar vessel sits to the left. Behind them are a metal table, orange plastic chairs, and the legs and feet of people in colourful clothing, partly visible at the edge. A rope lies coiled on a chair at the top right. No a person is visible in this image.2012-01-04January 03 20122012-01-03Several large black and steel cooking pots filled with cooked yellow rice mixed with carrot pieces and green herbs sit on a hexagonal tiled floor. Some pots have their round lids resting beside or on them. Behind them a sack and a small table with a steel tray stand near a rough stone wall, and the bare legs of a person in a checked lungi are visible at the top edge. This appears to be a food preparation area for mass distribution of prasadam.2012-11-27
