Dusk procession scene with a pink-and-grey sky over trees and power lines. At the centre, a golden ornately carved palanquin or ratha stands on a raised platform, housing a decorated deity murti with a golden face and a garland. A man in white dhoti and shirt with an orange shawl stands on the platform beside it, and a second figure in an orange robe stands beside him near the murti. A dense crowd of men in white dhotis and shirts, some in checked shirts, stands below and around the platform. Strings of small triangular pennants are strung overhead, and a white banner with Tamil text and a small portrait hangs at left.
