A stage set for a Brahmotsavam event with a golden ornate throne at centre, topped by a small canopy with hanging white and green flower strands. Seated on the throne is a figure in a cream-white robe with hands pressed together in namaskar, appearing to be a statue or figure rather than a live person. The throne is flanked by red cushions and red-and-white draped cloth, with red and orange flower arrangements at either side. Behind it hangs a yellow and green backdrop decorated with garlands, banana leaves, and sugarcane-like stalks, lit with green stage lighting. Green-lit kalasha-style vases stand on the stage steps.

December 26 20082008-12-26A photograph of an ornate golden throne (peetha) on a decorated stage, with a seated figure in white robes and red cushions, hands joined in a namaste gesture. A small golden canopy hangs above the throne. Green and gold backdrop drapery is strung with marigold-style garlands, and large banana-leaf plants flank the stage. Green stage lighting and flower vases with offerings surround the throne, with a red-and-white garland draped along the throne base. The seated figure has long dark hair and wears a white robe, so the appearance-based label is a person; the throne-and-garland staging alone does not establish identity, so the seated figure is a person but uncertain.2008-12-26A photograph of a stage set for a darshan event, lit with green and yellow light. Green-lit banana plants, garlands hanging from a yellow-green backdrop, flower arrangements and illuminated kalasha-style pots frame the throne. The figure's face and identity are not clearly established from appearance, so the seated person is described by role only as a figure on a peetha. He wears a cream-white dhoti and shawl and holds his hands in his lap. Behind him hangs a yellow and orange backdrop with green banana leaves, flower garlands, and bamboo-style decorations, lit with green stage lights. Flower arrangements and small vases stand on both sides of the throne. Only one person is physically present on stage. The throne shows no clear identifying cues beyond ceremonial seating, so identity remains uncertain.2008-12-26A photograph of a stage set for an event, with a single seated figure on an ornate golden throne with red cushions and a canopy of white beaded fringe. The seated person wears white and cream clothing with a light shawl and is seated centrally. The throne is flanked by tall green banana plants and garlands of marigolds and green leaves are draped along a yellow and orange backdrop. Green stage lights illuminate the set, with flower vases and small floral arrangements at the base. Whether the seated figure is the a person is uncertain, as the image does not give enough distinctive appearance cues; the figure is identified by role only as a seated person on a throne.2008-12-26
