A photograph looking up through a dense canopy of a tree at green leaves against pale sky. A large dark horizontal branch runs across the middle, with smaller branches and leaves spread above and around it. A small bird perches on a branch near the centre. No people, deities or ritual activity are visible.

A small brown bird with a pale throat is partly hidden among thin branches and twigs in a blurred green foliage setting. Out-of-focus bokeh spots of light frame the foreground, and dappled sunlight falls across the leaves. No people or ritual activity are visible. A dark bird.

A house sparrow stands on a pale tiled floor beside a reddish-brown wooden panel. The bird has a grey crown, brown streaked back and wings, a black bib, a white cheek patch and a pale grey underside, with its beak open. A white plastic bottle cap is visible at the upper left. The scene shows no people, statues or ritual objects.

A small grey and white bird with a black crest and a red patch near the eye perches on the top of a leafy green bush against a pale, overcast sky. Its beak is open as if calling. Scattered specks drift in the air above. No people, rituals or ashram activity are visible; the bird is the sole subject.
